Screams awoke her, from the pain that filled her body and from the terror that she was still being pursued. As a scream came up, she lurched forward from her prone position on the floor. She began to throw up water. The sun had clocked its way over to the horizon and was saying goodbye for the day. Her body shivered and immediately knew not of where she was. She crawled away from the waters edge and began to throw up more water and this time bile as well. A screaming hiss forced itself out her lips when she forced the remaining water that filled her lungs. Panic swam through her and so did the ache of a bruised and battered body, 'where was she and-' her urgent thoughts cut short. Catching the sight of something yellow, orange and dirty looking out of the corner of her eye, she darted a glance over only to leap to the left. A ear shattering scream and adrenaline overcome her once again. LION! Kicking and screaming when her body hit the ground only to realize as she calmed her panting self, that he was dead. And it took her a minute of scanning the soft pebbles beneath her feet and hands that yes, he was in fact no longer living. She remembered hearing the snap of his bones breaking against the rock that jutted from the rivers surface. But where was the river--... Her mental question was answered when she let her gaze fall over the dancing rays upon the lakes water, and the distant sound of something breaking the surface tension.
"Hmm....?" She questioned outwardly only to find the culprit. A water fall. She fell and must've washed ashore along with the dead companion of the lions that snuck up on her. A tight bit of her lip, she rose to her feet with great hesitation to exhume the body. Her steps were weak and she had closed her eyes in fear of the lion would magically come to life and try to attack her. She squatted a foot or so from it, retrieving a dead stick that washed up ashore with her and was now lapping at her toes. Her wings dragged behind her, they were damp with water. It annoyed her that she couldn't fly out of here, this big... canyon in the mountains. It was a nice place to rest though she thought to herself, while reaching over to poke the lion with the dead stick. It was flimsy and had no poking action to it. It more or less bent over the surface of the lion and didn't even distress the hairs. She grunted and backed away. And with a curse under her breath...
She backed up and lurched forward with her wee little bit of strength to headbutt it and scoff at its existence.
Her foot uprooted little pebbles and flung it at the dead lion in a disrespectful manner, when she had rose to her feet.
"Hmph, stupid feline."
She made her way to lightly packed dirt and few patches of grass, where a decent rock that soaked up most of the suns rays laid. With a deep breath, she outstretch her wings fell lazily over the rock like a drama queen falling onto her bed. Scampering up the side to lay on to rounded top with her back against it. She relished in the warmth and retrieved her flute she made the day before from her mothers horn and began playing the song of her people.

where did all you viewers go?? He spoke looking off into oblivion as he believed he was part of some play or show of sorts. He felt the switch in attention somehow as if the universe was focused somewhere else for a brief moment Did you have something better to watch and now that its over you turn back to old Haldo for amusement...well forget it. I won't even explain the previous scene that lead me into this forest in the first place He spoke with a slight irritated tone though he probably wasn't really hurt. He spoke almost annoyed as he pulled out arrows from his three victims and placed them back with the others, then placed his dagger back in its sheath. The situation that lead him into the forest was another assignment but now that he was done he could do what he pleased for the time being. A scream came not too far from his current location and it sounded like there was a large body of water wherever the sound was coming from. He began to sprint towards that direction. While on his way there, the screams seemed to end quickly , a moment of silence followed as Haldo got closer. At this point he could see the waterfall and had only a few trees in his way, suddenly a strange type of music began to play. A tune he wasn't quite familiar with but he could tell it was from a flute. When he emerged from the forest he came out singing along with the flute of course since he didn't know the song he added in lyrics that probably didn't belong to the song "If Noah had the benefit of hind sight on the ship he would have snatched two unicorns and left behind the pigs..." His singing was cut short at the sight of a lion laying dead on the floor, the original colors of its fur had been dulled by the water and it now had a darker look to it. From the corner of his eye was the source of the tune he heard earlier and probably the scream He looked over to the red headed female figure from under his hood Oh So this is a guest starring sort of thing huh?... Well before it gets all dramatic Is anyone pregnant...No? ... Good Haldo spoke the last part with relief and took a slightly longer look at her before speaking and for a brief moment he was actually quiet. Of course it hardly lasted for a second that's an impressive kill you've got there. Have you considered the type of clothing you're going to make with that he gestured over towards the dead lion on the floor.

Her mind was clear, her body was still and her mind was in heaven. With each soft breath, her lips parted inhaling softly only to let out a parade of tunes that danced together like elves at a festival. Her head bobbed slightly from side to side, wiggling her body to the beat of her tune. A happy, victorious tune, but its the only song she knew that made her so placid and happy. Footsteps were heard but she just figured it was her mind playing some tricks on her again, but as a voice came along with it. Her tune and concentration broke; the flute went high pitched and faded into oblivion. As she had figured no one would find her, she was wrong, dead wrong; and she hoped to the Gods he was friendly because she was in no mood to find out. Gradually, and with much more effort than she realized it be, her sore body complained and screamed when she propped her upper body up. Vibrantly yellow irises glared over at the male, unamused, unpleased but he was approaching in a nonthreatening manner. It was a relief to some aspect but in others she was worried she had to keep an eye on him, for what she knew of humans is most of them were children. With his "trying to make conversation and not be awkward banter", she saw him gesture over to the Lion. Whom she honestly thought wasn't there anymore, she had already forgot. And with her eyesight following, his gesture about something about clothing. With a quick thought of her dress that swayed above her knees, it had no sleeves but it was just wet and heavy. Guess he was right about the whole new clothes aspect. As soon as her eyes laid on the beast, the image of it leaping at her flew over her head. And with that thought. Another scream. "NO!" She yelped with tears bursting through her eyes. And, with her might and all her force, she outstretched her wings with the fading light reflected their deep maroon color; a hiss her breath, she forced her feet to propel herself off the rock. At him. It was intentional, no not at all. Although she wouldn't lie, because she couldn't lie, when he first approached she was soothed by his voice and giggled mentally about his joke about that fella Noah, whomever he was. They crashed, rolled, tumbled and skidded to a hault. Their bodies were flung back over to the tree line which was quite some ways from where she was laying before. Her curly red hair flung over in his face when she laid her head on his chest, grunting a bit. "Go kill it.." Her pale limbs crawled off him only to stay beside him. She nudged his side with her hard as bone horns and headbutted him gently, pushing him more toward the beast or at least trying to get him up to go kill it. And with a swift motion, she backed away a bit, but stayed by his side. Her legs folded underneath her and she stared down at him with watery golden eyes and her hands resting on her lap. She was hating on herself right now, she didn't want it around and she was bawling like a little baby to some stranger; although she'd beat herself up later for it. Or him. Depending on if he deserved it. "Muh.." Her sharp teeth clench on her lip, grinding it inbetween her teeth. And with a glance back over to it, then down at him, almost pleading to him.
"I don't like lions."

She eyed him for a second until he gestured at the lion, at that very moment a loud No was let out before she somehow flew in his direction. He wasn't really expecting that as the force forced the hood adjustment to loosen and the hood was pushed back showing his face, You're under attack Haldo do something the voice in his head returned as soon as they finally stopped tumbling and rolling she rolled off from his chest Haldo? Thought I wouldn't see you in this one. there was slight excitement in his tone at the voice coming back, then the female that had tackled him began to speak.all she said was kill it Kill what?! Haldo got up in defense not seing any threat towards them.
He quickly loaded his bow with two arrows and looked around before aiming back at her assuming she meant he should kill her since there was nothing else that seemed like a threat. Ok, if you say so.. that was until the voice spoke again wow,I give up on you sometimes he gave back a chuckle when she said she hated lions, he understood what she meant as he put the arrows away. how about a piggie back ride closer to it, then when we are close enough to it you can grab the dagger from my sheath and throw it at the lion?? He sort of understood what was happening , as a mercenary he had come across a few targets he just had to kill twice. Holy magic users would mostly revive his targets and make his job harder.

She snorted when the arrows were turned to her. 'Is he an idiot, or he doesn't listen' she took a mental note of him only to grunt at him. And then, he chuckled like he FINALLY realize what she had meant. It took him a minute, so yes in her deduction he wasn't listening. Typical male. She threw her gaze another way, to her he was no threat to her. She scanned the treeline, listening to arrows being emptied back into their holster. The only person she comes in contact after she buries her family are lions and a moron. She guessed she wasn't as lucky as she thought she might've been. Her dull gaze returned back to him as she took to her feet and outspread her wings like a majestic beast of prey; her arms threw up in the arm and her body shook as she let loose a yawn. As he spoke to her again, she straightened her posture. A hand rested on her hip and she let her body lean to her right. A piggy back ride?
"Im not gonna ride on a pig, and plus I don't see a pig around here." She exclaimed. How foolish did he think she was? Pretty foolish I'm sure. She wiped her eyes and felt her eye twitch when she caught note of him wanting to move closer to the beast. Her mouth fell open in protest. Her stride to him was quick, her leg wrapped around his waist and before he could even inhale a breath. With a flick of her wrist, she had retrieved the dagger from its holster. Her other arm laid on his back and with a flick of her wrist as if showing him she didn't need to BE any closer. An outstretched arm in front of him after her fluid motion was complete, as if to lay her hand out showing him like SEE? Both her body and his was facing the lion, her body half mounted to his and she grinned as the piercing of flesh soon following. It was on score, directly to its heart. It pierced so rapidly that the fur on the surface wasn't even wavered by it. "I've skilled in the art of throwing daggers as a past time. I don't need to BE any closer to kill it" As for being a Caster, she was skilled in this art only because she hated slings. It was just a piece of leather that was used to throw stones and daggers seemed to be more deadly and her hands caressed them like a child and let them loose like a fury of sharp claws in soft exposed flesh.
Her grin was that of victory, she then realized that there was no victory because the target wasn't even a threat. She again had to remind herself that it was in fact, dead. Her leg that was wrapped around him. She felt herself get hot in the face. He was attractive yes, but this was no reason to be on him like a drunk bar maiden. She let her leg slowly glide down and hoped the to gods it didn't excite him any if her act of prowess didn't already. She took a step back and felt like a diversion was needed. Of course it was. "Look a fish" as she pointed to the waters edge only to move behind him and crash her horns into him again, hoping to push him in the water. Much like children at play except this was a little more of a role reversal when the boys liked the girls, they'd hurt them in some way and it pleased them. As much as it pleased her right now. She let out a laugh of giddiness and couldn't hold her content, for she was like a child.

When she spoke about pigs he hung his head and slightly face palmed until a swift movement came from her, it was a series of quick events. Haldo hardly got to see it all, what he got a good glimpse of was when she pulled the dagger from its sheath and in no time she was on his back. That...that right there is a piggy back ride! He spoke with a chuckle and a loud tone then was silenced when the dagger flew and hit the lion directly in its heart. At that instant his laughing was cut off and the voice in his head quickly took a mental note. •Dont let Haldo talk shit to her if she is within reach of a short bladed weapon Haldo gave off a short subtle nod of respect as he was trained but really hoped she wouldn't notice it. Nice throw quickly realizing he had complemented someone else he turned his complement around I feel so much safer knowing I won't be attacked by any dead enemies while around you His competetive side would take over quite freaquently from time to time. she clearly wasn't one of those people in persuit of mediocrity.
It sort of made him sick how people would grow up and waste their lives trying to be normal, accepted and be part of a world that would shun individual thinking or action completely. She didn't seem to be like that in the least Haldo still wondered about the wings or what on earth got her here but when she suddenly shouted out "Look a fish" He turned instantly and as he felt a pair of horns on his back he quickly threw his hands behind him, grabbing one horn and pulling her in with him. A small smile made its way onto his face and not the usual smile that would mean " I have a fun way of killing you in mind". But a slightly nicer smile We haven't used the drown technique in quite a while. a voice suddenly spoke out of turn We will consider that once all the other voices have a gathering... Plus we can't kill unless all of us agree to it. The other let out a slight sigh. gathering at midnight it is then. he spoke before getting back to the new female You'd have to wake up pretty early to out maneuver me...all you managed to do was get yourself wet. he stopped for a second I mean get more water on yourself. he fixed his earlier statement. The person that writes this script needs lessons still convinced he is part of another existance Haldo didn't quite accept what he was told reality is and from time to time he would come up for other ways to keep his mind from wondering, one of these methods was just making it a play. exactly, I don't remember anything about swimming lessons yet I somehow managed to swim... Can you believe that? He spoke loudly with a slight shake of his head.
This place was quite impressive though, as he looked around he noticed the still water only moved in one place which was where the waterfall was, the rest of the river simply carried slight ripples that seemed to reflect the sun in more than one way with each ripple, he hadn't had much time to appreciate the piece full areas such as this one. He couldn't help but calm be calmed by the place. He looked toward the attractive red head and where most would ask for names he asked her something different how did you get those wings? Putting an arrow through someone's neck would be much easier if I could do it from the sky,I want a pair too. The waterfall forced him to swim a lot closer to her to make sure they could both hear each other well.

As she hit dead on score to where she was aiming, she soon realized that she was going down with him. 'What!' she exclaimed mentally. There was no time to think things through, she just held her breath as the waves crashed her and she was soon consumed with water. Her lungs filled with air and she monitored her heartbeat, listening to it in her eardrums from under the water. She was calm under here. At least he wasn't boring. She hated boring people. Her eyes opened to see the marine life around her. Her body slowly sunk in the water and she could hear his voice from the surface. The fading sunlight caused him to outright glow above the surface. She'd better head up to see what he wanted. If he wanted anything at all. She wasn't too found, or even skilled with water because of her wings weighing her down. With a thrust and a gasp, she busted through the waters surface and felt her hair stick to her face immediately after everything settled. And, this is why she hated being wet. It was an annoyance beyond other things. Her eyes scanned the water and there he was, swimming over to her. "Hm?" she arched a questioning brow.
She had come up around the time that he was explaining how he never learned how to swim but apparently knew how. How awkward. Although, she couldn't say much to his statement; she hardly even knew how, she just knew enough to keep herself above water long enough to get out of it. So he was a bowsman, a hunter even; well, he was quick with his bow, and she never really took lessons for it, so she couldn't really say if she was good with it or not. "Mmm.." Her lips vibrated the unspoken words. Her bright blazing yellow eyes stared him down unamused like most people stared at her. Mentally, she felt her ears perk up. They were long yes, but not as long as elves. And, they poked through her brilliantly red hair. She smiled. He liked her wings. "Wanna see-..." She cut herself short. Then, shook her head as if trying to retrieve the dying words back inside her head. She was trying not to act too childish for she hated people taking advantage of this.
"Come here... I'm going to push you under water and stand on your hands, with all your might push me up. Ready. GO!" She reached up and out of the water. Her hands caressing him gently, with a smile. If anyone was watching they'd think of it being "too romantic" and "a moment to die for." Her eyes lowered onto him and it could've been perceived that she was going to lay her lips upon his as she pulled his swimming body closer to her. So close though, they were touching. Her eyes widened and wicked, playful grin flashed over her lips as if like "HAHA! GOTCHA BITCH!" And with a hard push, she dunked him under the water. He wanted to know what it was like to fly, so she was going to show him; she just had to get out of the waters surface first. His body glided across her underneath the water and she immediately maneuvered herself above him, which she was sure if he was looking, he catch a glimpse of her naughty bits; but lets just hope he wasn't. With a mad push off his hands, she out stretched her drenched wings and let herself bask in the last bit of radiant light. It almost seemed like slow motion. Her body majestically came out of the water and water droplets caught rays of beckoning light. Her head up to the sky and fresh mountain breeze filled her lungs. A feeling so sirene she wished it wouldn't end, and with one stroke of her tremendous powerful wings she idled in the air above. She pulled her legs close to her small frame. Her wings flapped slowly but with force; could've even broken the laws of physics. With each thrust her maroon colored, feathery wings managed to break the waters surface tension and create a hole, small but a hole nonetheless, in the water. She outstretched her hand and smiled eagerly.
"Do you wanna know how its like to fly. You wont be able to get a pair of these. I promise you that. But you can use mine, just don't ever take them from me." Her last words were scornful as if she would practically loose her mind if he did. Which, she would. Her other arm outstretched toward him to help pull him from the waters surface. "Pull your body toward me when you grab my hands so I don't falter" She would rather let him go then get pulled back under the water like an idiot. Her body was glistening wet, the water appearing to not even touch her skin; just simply glide over her milky white flesh. Archiac hovered just over the surface of the water, hoping to the gods he wasn't mad at her for taking action in her own hands. If she let her feet down, her toes would dangle in the water and the thought made her shiver slightly.
"My name is Archiac. "
